THE WEDDING OF GUANG DONG
Kien and Hue both are Vietnamese-born Cantonese, so their wedding would definitely follow Guang Dong’s tradition. They are however not an old school customs follower, and so am I.
We were thinking about the blend of modern and traditional beliefs, something with vibrant red hues, something that recalled the Chinese vibe at first look. We have gone through over four months, with different samples, different prints, different papers. We then ended up with this suite which would be the most visually richest among the collections with red lanterns, Xi, LongFeng Gua, and betrothal gifts.
