This project came from poet and writer De Vo Tan, who entrusted me with the cover for his upcoming book — a combined collection of poetry and memoirs spanning his childhood, wartime experiences, post-war life, and retirement.
The design process began with two weeks of text layout, followed by one week of exploring cover concepts that would reflect both the emotional depth and historical weight of his stories. After finalizing the design, it took two days to prepare the print-ready file, with two more weeks for production. A truly special collaboration that bridges memory, art, and literature in one cover.
